Thanks for dropping in.

The City Tech Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization created in 1981 to support the activities of New York City College of Technology (CUNY). The Foundation supports conferences and events, provides grants to support scholarly activities of both faculty and students and, most importantly, provides scholarships to support City Tech students. In the most recent year, these scholarships added up to over $125,000.

In the last five years the College has grown to an anticipated 16,000 students this fall, the number of full-time faculty members has risen by 50%, the list of significant faculty scholarship has more than tripled. The College was recently the site of an international conference on solar sailing at which presenters came from 14 countries. The activities of the Foundation gain increasing importance as the College endeavors to maintain its current extraordinary momentum in the face of declining New York State financial support. Philanthropic support can make an enormous difference. The support of 82,000+ alumni, of foundations that recognize the crucial role of the College, and of corporations that benefit from the superb workforce development done by CUNY's only college of technology will allow the College to soar to even greater heights that what has been achieved in recent years.

We invite you to visit this blog site frequently to see the most current plans of the Foundation, and to assist wherever you can. We look forward to your support.
